I remember tearing up when I read chapter 941 for the first time, and guess what? My eyes still aren’t safe this time!

Despite my issues with the bathhouse scene, because I didn’t like it how Oda used Nami for the group to flee, this volume was great。 The end was very heartbreaking and I really liked Yasui’s role in the story。

Oda bringing it in here。 It starts off with the usual Luffy trying to escape and battling it out in some sumo ring and learning Haki and we learn of the old man Hyogoro and also seems like he will be battling Queen soon, meanwhile in another place the flower capital is recovering from the loss of Komurasaki and then we have the secrets of Yasuie san and his whole execution thing and the backstory and the moment leading up to it and then what happens afterwards, This was an emotional volume man! So much informationWow。 Wano seems to be a hub of legendary figures。 So many of the greats gather and so many things happen。 I love this arc。 It's really fleshing out the story of those threads throughout the series。 And curse those "smile" fruits!!! As Luffy and his crew continue to set their plans into motion for freeing Wano, and Law gets his own crew set, their enemies move closer to achieving a momentous victory over the pirates - one that may just cost someone their life。 Oda brings more world building and intense emotion with another complex but exciting entry。 What sort of limits are the Beast Pirates willing to break to get a win over the Straw Hats?

They are at it again。 These books just get better。 I don't know how they can make Alabasta and Dressrosa look easy, but Oda keeps upping the stakes。 And making each place so very distinct。 You can always trust Luffy to be an idiot。 A bad guy to look quite stupid。 Someone to surprise you with their depth and sacrifice。 Once again, I put down the book going, "How long has he been leading us to just this moment?" Oda is very good at hiding things in plain sight。 They are at it again。 These books just get better。 I don't know how they can make Alabasta and Dressrosa look easy, but Oda keeps upping the stakes。 And making each place so very distinct。 You can always trust Luffy to be an idiot。 A bad guy to look quite stupid。 Someone to surprise you with their depth and sacrifice。 Once again, I put down the book going, "How long has he been leading us to just this moment?" The first book of the new US release schedule--Wano still has the makings of being the best arc of the series, but we're currently in the midst of a whole lot of scene-setting, exposition, and so on。 I've high hopes that it'll pay off, though!Notes: (1) I'm a big fan of Queen as a villain。 He's a lot of fun。 (2) It's a little disappointing that Zoro is off on his own in the wilds for most of this arc so far--Wano is supposed to be all about him, but he hasn't spent a lot of time with the other m The first book of the new US release schedule--Wano still has the makings of being the best arc of the series, but we're currently in the midst of a whole lot of scene-setting, exposition, and so on。 I've high hopes that it'll pay off, though!Notes: (1) I'm a big fan of Queen as a villain。 He's a lot of fun。 (2) It's a little disappointing that Zoro is off on his own in the wilds for most of this arc so far--Wano is supposed to be all about him, but he hasn't spent a lot of time with the other major characters for some time。 。。。more

I think this arc is getting a little overly complex, with all the plans and drawbacks and whatnot, and could have been condensed and tightened a fair bit without losing too much in the story itself。。。 but the end is some sad shit。

I KNEW IT WAS HIYORI 。。。more
